2022 NRLA Annual Conference

October 18-19, 2022

This year’s meeting had a special focus on the ongoing 2023 Farm Bill deliberations. This package of legislation, only renewed every 5 years or so, has far-reaching implications for American farmers/ranchers and businesses in rural areas. In addition to the array of farm, food, credit access and other topics typically covered by the bill, the 2023 Farm Bill will also attempt to address the many vulnerabilities in our food supply chain that were uncovered during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Members that joined the meeting received updates from USDA program area specialists, networking with USDA staff and industry experts, updates from NRLA committee chairs and special sessions on the upcoming Farm Bill legislation.
